Creative Lunch Days

An extra long pottery painting session, 11am to 3pm, plenty of time to create at your leisure!! -arrive and leave when it suits you. Help and guidance if you need it. Fresh cooked Jacket Potato Lunch served at 1pm, Teas & Coffees included. Session fee including lunch Only £10.00 Please Book in advance, as places are strictly limited…Adults only (17+)

Pottery Painting for All plus: Using textures & patterns Either do your own thing, or join in and see how to achieve stunning looks simply by using textures and patterns. £6 session fee

Pottery Painting plus: Brush-on glazes for cool new effects!Amazing effects without artistic ability! Grab a big brush & join in! Of course you are always welcome to do your own thing and enjoy a relaxing night out! £6 session fee.

Spring Flowers Painting plus Clay making: Garden Flowers Spring is on the Way! Be inspired by spring flower designs to paint, or join in our clay making session and create clay flowers for your garden that will bloom the whole year! £6 session fee for painting. Clay making session £18 includes tuition, clay and firing of your work.

Pottery Painting for all Come and enjoy a fun night of pottery painting for all, relaxing and creative fun, with no artistic ability required and easy ideas to copy. £6 session fee

African Evening You’ll love our African influenced designs! With easy ideas to copy. Of course you are welcome to do your own thing and enjoy a relaxing night out! £6 session fee

Pottery Painting plus: An introduction to Tube Lining Either do your own thing, or join in and see how to bring your painting to life using tube lining. £6 session fee

Pottery Painting plus Clay making: Magical Mushrooms Enjoy a relaxing evening of Pottery Painting, or join in our clay making session and create these cool and easy to make mushrooms for your patio or balcony! These are specially designed to decorate with brush on glazes. £6 session fee for painting. Clay making session £18 includes tuition, clay and firing of your work.

Making in Clay

Friday Mornings 10.15 to 12.45

Make this autumn the time to discover your creative side, and try clay sculpture. Our simple projects are an ideal way to get started, and when you have completed one or two projects and want to develop your own ideas, but still with back up when you need it, move on to our open studio sessions. All of these sessions are clay making only, your work will be kiln fired and you can return at a later date to decorate.

Stylish and individual bowls to keep for yourself or to give as gifts! One session to make. Clay making session, including clay for a large bowl £18.

Magical Mushrooms

A NEW cool project to bring your patio or garden to life, with these funky mushrooms! Clay making session including clay for one large mushroom or 2 small £18

Put your stamp on your home, with a name or number plaque that is as individual as you are! Simple and fun to make,. Clay making session, inc. Clay, and tuition. £18

Beginners

Complete beginners start here! We offer three different beginner projects, it doesn’tt matter which you try first, as they are of a similar level of difficulty. Most people complete all three projects before moving on to an improvers class. You will make at least one pot and have it fired. Cost Weekdays £24 all inclusive/concessions £19.50 Weekends £44.50 all inclusive.

Improvers

If you have completed one or more of our beginners projects, and feel ready to move on. In these ‘Improver’ mornings, we will tackle either turning a footrim or adding a handle. You should complete at least one item which will be fired. Cost: Weekdays £24 all Inclusive/concessions £19.50

Independent Potting

For those who wish to build up skills but still with some input from a tutor, we offer semi-independent sessions, which can be booked for most weekdays and some weekends, sessions last 2.5 hours and cost Cost Weekdays £24 all inclusive/concessions £19.50 Weekends £44.50 all inclusive. Call or email to book. For experienced potters, we offer rent-a wheel . You can book a rent–a-wheel session on most weekdays and weekends, and the cost includes your first 4 pieces of clay. 2 hour sessions from £18 weekdays. At your first booking, you will be required to take a short health and safety induction.

More ways to pot

We also offer private one-to-one tuition, or book a session for two! A popular way to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. Planning a Corporate Day, Hen Party or other adult group booking at the Barn? You can add a turn at the Potter’s Wheel to your group package for as little as £6 per person.
