‘Learn &  Lunch’ & Leisurely Lunch Days

An extra long pottery painting session, 11am to 3pm, plenty of time to create at your leisure!! – arrive and leave when it suits you.  Help and guidance if you need it.  Fresh cooked Jacket Potato Lunch served at 1pm,  Teas & Coffees included.

Leisureley Lunch: Session fee including lunch only £14.00, just add the cost of the item you choose.  Please Book in advance, as places are strictly limited…Adults only (17+)

‘Learn & Lunch’: includes step by step instruction to a new design technique, a choice of   ‘prestige’ pottery items to decorate, and a freshly prepared hot buffet lunch, served in the studio at 1pm.  Strictly over 17 years only, please book in advance. Session including tuition, pottery item & lunch only £25.00

Wednesday 5th Sept                Pottery Painting – Silk screen stencil techniques.  Make a professional looking platter or vase without picking up  a paintbrush!

Thursday 20th Sept                 Pottery Painting and Clay Project making – Make a Flower Bowl, simple clay making for beginners.

Wednesday 3rd Oct                 Pottery Painting – Paint a poppy platter or vase – fun project using stencils and sponges.  Great for beginners.  No artistic ability required.

Thursday 18th Oct                    Pottery painting and Clay Project Making.  Make a pair of ‘Tower of London’ Style remembrance poppies.

Wednesday 7th Nov                  Pottery Painting for Christmas.  Christmas stock now in.  Great ideas for Christmas gifts and Homewares!

Thursday 22nd Nov                  Pottery painting and Clay Project Making.   Make a Holly Bowl, easy fun clay making for Christmas!

Wednesday 5th Dec                 Pottery Painting for Christmas.  Everything painted today will be ready in plenty of time for Christmas!

 

 Evening Events 7pm to 9.30

Pottery painting and Clay making evenings.   Open to all adults (17+). An ideal and fun starting place for complete beginners.  Snacks & drinks included in your session fee. Please book in advance, £7 session fee per person, plus the cost of the item you paint, or the clay project you make.

Thursday 20th Sept 80s Paint Night.     Unlimited themed drinks and snacks.  Non-stop 80’s music.  Paint from a choice of regular items.  Item plus session fee £20 per person.  Come in 80’s dress if you dare!  You don’t have to be interested in painting or pottery to have a fun night out!

Thursday 27th Sept                                 Pottery Painting for all.  Beginners very welcome.  Clay making – Make a Lantern, simple clay making for beginners.

Thursday 4th October                            Pottery Painting for all, beginners welcome.  Plus clay making – Make a pair of ‘Tower of London’ style poppies.

Thursday 11th October                          Pottery Painting for all, beginners welcome.  Plus clay making – Make a  Flower Bowl.

Thursday 18th October Cheese & Wine Paint Night.  Try these super wines – all with interesting stories plus a selection of delicious cheeses. Paint from a choice of regular items, including session fee £20 per person.  You don’t have to be interested in painting or pottery to have a fun night out!

Clay to Finished Pot Sessions

Suitable for everyone (ages 17+) who has potting on the ‘Bucket List’,  for birthdays, anniversaries or to give pottery a try before booking a class.  In a one to one session with one of our potters you will create your first pot!   The price includes the firing of your work plus a return visit to decorate.  Available on Sundays and Bank Holidays call or email to book £20.00

 

Potter’s Wheel ’Experience’  sessions

For those who have throwing a pot on the ’Bucket List’  Or fot those thinking of starting a new hobby.  The sessions last between one hour to one and a half hours, depending on how you get on!  You will try two pots during your session, and the price includes the firing of the pots you make plus a return visit to decorate.  Small groups of up to 4 taught by one of our potters.

Available on weekday mornings during school term times & Saturdays at 10.30am.  Available on selected Sundays, starting times vary, call or email to book £42.00

 

Beginners to Advanced Classes

Starting with a beginners class which is designed for those who have done either a clay to finished pot session or a potter’s wheel experience session you will make at least two pots and start to understand the art of potting. Cost includes firing of your pots.  Small group of up to four.  Book classes at intervals to suit you and progress at your own pace, learning new skills and taking time to practice the skills you have gained until you feel ready to throw pots independently.

Available on selected weekdays during school term time and Saturdays at 10.30am

Weekdays  £43.00   Weekends £52.00

Please Note: Potter’s Wheel Weekend sessions for all the above options are currently very popular, you may be need to book several weeks in advance.

Making in Clay       

Our projects are ideal for total beginners.  All of these sessions are clay making only, your work will be kiln fired and you can return at a later date to decorate. Maximum group size 8 to 12 , with step by step tuition.    See Evenings and Lunch days above for available dates and projects

When you return to paint your project there is an additional painting session fee, also there is an extra fee is you wish to decorate using speciality or crystal glazes.  

 

Cancellation Policy Classes must be paid for in full 14 days before the date of your class. You may cancel or move the date of your class up to 14 days before the class, without penalty. If you cancel your class less than 14 days before the class, your payment or  voucher will be lost.  At our discretion we may permit a free transfer from class to class once we have been able to fill the place remaining on the class.
