The School Holidays are almost upon us, and we will be open 10am to 5pm,  every day from Monday 26th July until Sunday 5th September.

We have some great new items to paint, including some of your favourite Disney characters!

You can pop in to paint anytime we are open, but if you have a particular time or day in mind, or you are bringing a group of four or more, we suggest you call or email us to reserve your table.

Kids Classses

Kids classes every weekday from 10am to 11.15 for children aged 7 to 12 years, small groups and a mixture of activities.  Please book in advance for these sessions. Only £9 per session includes everything – studio fee, tuituin, items or clay!

Every weekday from 2th July until 3rd September.  Paint one of the items on the competition shelf before 1pm, and your item will be entered into our daily competion.  One winner each day!

• Spot the plate

Hazle Ceramics are 20 years old this year! 

Join in the celebrations an win a voucher when you spot our celebration plate in the workshop.

You will need keen eyes to find it – it could be hiding anywhere!

Maximum of one winners voucher per family per day.

• Pot of the week

All potter’s wheel pots left with us to be fired this summer will be automatically entered into our pot of the week competition, with a money off voucher for the winner.

Kids & adults from 6 to 96 will love this!  come along for a one to one session with one of our talented & enthusiatic potters, and in 15 minutes you can create your first hand thrown pot!

Sessions £6 per person.  Wet pots can be taken away on the day, or left with us to be kiln fired for an additional £6. per pot.

Sessions available weekdays 11am to 2pm, please book in advance.

Come and join us for a fun evening of painting, with a glass of wine or soft drink & nibbles included in the £6 session fee, and a range of easy ideas to get your creative juices flowing! 

We meet lots of Mums, Dads, Nans & carers who come along and watch the kids painting, but don’t join in!   If this is you, reserve your space for tonight and give it a go.   Pottery painting is great fun for adults as well as children, and with our suportive staff on hand to guide you, even those who claim not to have any artistic talent will enjoy creating something unique!

Strictly Adults only (17+)  Pls. reserve your spaces in advance – spaces go quickly!

Small groups and lots of fun, with a mixture of activities, -  Parents do not have to stay with the children for these classes.

Each month we will be showing some of our favourites here.  If you painted one of them, simply email us saying which item is yours, and quote the 4 digit number on the reverse of the item and we will email you a voucher to use on your next visit!

Happy Birthday Elle!

Have you met Elle?  She has been working at the barn on Saturdays for over a year now & often helps out when we need an extra hand with the Kids Paint & Make Club.  She clearly loves it here, as she held her 17th Birthday party here recently, and she & her guests painted some great momentos of the day!

If you came along to our recent fundraising evening, the big news is : Chloe reached her target of raising £600, and has just returned from Croatia where she worked at a residential home for children and adults with special needs.

Chloe & her team ( put together by the Anglia Ruskin University) purchased all the supplies they needed for the work in Croatia, thereby also helping the local economy!

She has lots of interesting stories about her time there, and pictures of herself & her team working with the clients. These are challenging stories to hear, but leave one in no doubt that this team are doing valuable work there, and are deserving of our support!

We all missed her like mad while she was away, but we are proud of her for giving up her holidays to do something so worthwhile!

Now Chloe is hoping to give up her holiday again next year to return to Croatia, so get ready for some more fun fundraising activities soon!
